Questions we get
What exactly is krapow?
It is the Thai holy-basil stir-fry — meat tossed hot and fast with basil, chilli and garlic. At King of KraPOW it lands on the wok-hei fried rice the King of Fried Rice kitchen is built on, usually under a crispy-edged fried egg.
How much is a plate?
The Bukit Panjang board starts at S$6.30 for minced pork with no egg, S$7.30 with a single yolk and S$8.30 with a double. Pork belly and prawn cost a dollar or two more, and the pork-belly and prawn combinations more again. Jurong West and Bendemeer run their own boards — check at the stall.
Can I choose how spicy it is?
Yes. The board shows three spice levels, from not spicy to very spicy. Say the one you want when you order.
Can I get it delivered?
All three outlets are listed on foodpanda. Delivery prices run higher than the stall board.
Is King of KraPOW halal?
No. King of KraPOW is not halal-certified, and pork is on the board.
