The story so far

A dropout, a wok
and a lot of basil

Lester Li spent three years as a chef at Jumbo Group, then opened his first King of Fried Rice in 2018 — a one-man stall in the basement of Golden Mile Tower. Thirty-plus outlets later, on 2 June 2026, he put basil on the rice and called it King of KraPOW.

What makes it KraPOW

Wok-hei first,
basil second

Most pad krapow lands on steamed rice. Ours lands on the fried rice the parent brand has been throwing through a screaming wok since 2018 — so the base carries char before the basil, chilli and garlic even arrive.

Then the double yolk goes on top. Break it, mix it through, and the whole plate turns richer.
